These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of storypiece.com, StoryPiece companion audio and online experiences, and products and services offered by Stage-A-Day Puzzles LLC, doing business as StoryPiece.

Throughout these Terms, “StoryPiece,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Stage-A-Day Puzzles LLC. “You” refers to the person accessing the website, using our online services, or purchasing a product.

By accessing the website, using a StoryPiece companion experience, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies referenced in them.

1. Eligibility and adult supervision

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to make a purchase or create an account.

StoryPiece products may be designed for family and educational use, but purchases and account activity must be completed by an adult. Children should use the website, QR codes, audio, and related online experiences with the involvement or supervision of a parent, guardian, teacher, or other responsible adult.

Product age recommendations do not eliminate the need for appropriate adult supervision. Some products contain small parts and are not intended for children under three years of age.

2. Products and product information

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately. However:

• Colors and images may appear differently depending on the screen or device;
• Packaging and minor product details may change;
• Product dimensions and specifications may contain reasonable manufacturing tolerances; and
• Availability may change without notice.

A StoryPiece product may combine a physical puzzle with companion audio or other online content. Product descriptions identify the contents included with each purchase.

We may limit quantities, discontinue products, update product details, or refuse sales where permitted by law.

3. Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is not accepted until we confirm it or begin fulfillment.

We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including:

• Product unavailability;
• Pricing, description, or listing errors;
• Payment failure;
• Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity;
• Shipping restrictions;
• Quantity limits; or
• Other lawful operational reasons.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, contact, and payment information.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in the currency identified on the store and do not necessarily include taxes, shipping, duties, or other charges unless expressly stated.

Applicable charges will be displayed during checkout before you submit the order.

We may correct pricing or listing errors. If a material error affects an order you have placed, we may contact you for instructions or cancel and refund the order.

Payments are processed through Shopify and other payment providers. We do not directly control those providers’ systems, availability, or independent terms.

5. Preorders and projected dates

Products offered before their expected availability may be identified as preorders.

Manufacturing, freight, customs, fulfillment, carrier, or other circumstances can cause projected dates to change. Unless expressly described as guaranteed, launch, shipment, and delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.

If a material delay occurs, we will provide notice and any cancellation or refund options required by applicable law.

6. Shipping and delivery

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy and the information shown at checkout.

You are responsible for reviewing and entering a complete and accurate delivery address. Once a carrier marks a package delivered, responsibility for loss or theft may depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

Shipping estimates do not include delays caused by carriers, weather, holidays, incorrect addresses, customs, or events outside our reasonable control.

Federal rules generally require online sellers to ship within the stated time or, if no time is stated, within 30 days. When a qualifying delay occurs, the seller must provide the required notice and cancellation or refund opportunity. Consumer Advice

7. Returns and refunds

Returns, replacements, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Policies or requirements imposed by law take precedence where they cannot legally be waived.

8. Companion audio and digital content

A StoryPiece product may include access to audio, illustrations, written material, webpages, or other digital content.

Unless the product description states otherwise, purchasing a product gives the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use its companion content for:

• Personal and household use;
• Family gatherings;
• Homeschool use; and
• Use by one teacher with the teacher’s own classroom.

This license does not transfer ownership of the content.

You may not, without our written permission:

• Download content where no download option is provided;
• Copy, record, reproduce, republish, upload, or redistribute the audio;
• Sell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit the content;
• Broadcast or publicly perform it;
• Remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices;
• Circumvent access or security controls; or
• Use the content to train, build, or improve an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system.

Separate licenses may be available for schools, libraries, events, businesses, group programs, and other institutional or public uses. Contact us for permission.

9. Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

Notify us promptly if you believe your account or access information has been used without authorization.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms, applicable law, security requirements, or the rights of another person have been violated.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use the website or services to:

• Violate a law or another person’s rights;
• Transmit malicious code;
• Attempt unauthorized access;
• Interfere with the website or its security;
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data;
• Impersonate another person;
• Submit fraudulent information;
• Abuse return, payment, promotion, or review systems; or
• Use our content or services in a misleading, defamatory, harmful, or unlawful manner.

11. Intellectual property

The StoryPiece™ and Stage-A-Day™ names, marks, branding, product concepts, puzzle layouts, artwork, packaging, audio productions, recordings, scripts, photographs, graphics, page designs, and website content are owned by or licensed to Stage-A-Day Puzzles LLC.

Underlying literary works or other source material may be in the public domain or owned by third parties. Our adaptations, recordings, performances, editing, artwork, packaging, and other original contributions remain protected to the extent permitted by law.

No intellectual-property rights are transferred except for the limited use license expressly described in these Terms.

12. User submissions and reviews

When you submit a review, photograph, comment, testimonial, suggestion, or other material to us, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate another person’s rights.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you grant StoryPiece a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, adapt, and share the submission for operating, improving, and promoting StoryPiece and its products.

We are not required to publish or retain submissions and may remove them where permitted by law.

13. Third-party services and links

The website is hosted by Shopify and may use or link to services operated by third parties.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites, content, products, availability, security, or practices that we do not control.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

We work to provide accurate information, functional services, and quality products.

Except for warranties expressly provided by us or required by law, the website and online services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties that may lawfully be disclaimed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right, or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stage-A-Day Puzzles LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the website, online services, or products.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability relating to a product or order will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the product or order giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stage-A-Day Puzzles LLC from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the services, your material violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

This section does not apply to the extent a claim results from StoryPiece’s own unlawful conduct.

17. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

18. Changes to the services or Terms

We may update the website, services, products, and these Terms.

The “Last updated” date identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. Changes do not retroactively alter an order already accepted except where agreed or legally permitted.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of protections that apply mandatorily under the law of the consumer’s place of residence.

20. Severability

If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

21. No waiver

A failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.

22. Entire agreement

These Terms and the policies expressly incorporated into them constitute the agreement between you and StoryPiece concerning the website, services, and purchases, except for any additional terms expressly presented with a particular product or order.
